**Traders see limited odds of a conviction by the end of 2026 largely because of the slow pace of the Canadian criminal justice system and patterns in prior cases against Aguiar.** The Toronto dating coach and content creator, known online as Justin Marc, was charged in November 2025 with one count of sexual assault stemming from an August 2024 incident; he faces his next court date in early 2026 with no trial scheduled yet. Earlier charges from 2019 and 2023 were withdrawn, and Canadian sexual assault prosecutions often stall or resolve without a finding of guilt due to disclosure delays, backlogs, and high evidentiary thresholds. Additional accusers have come forward publicly since the arrest, but these remain untested in court. The market resolution rules further tilt against “Yes,” treating dismissals or non-guilt pleas as resolving to “No.” With roughly 15 months left on the clock and no fast-track signals from prosecutors, the 82.2% “No” price reflects trader expectations that the case will not reach a qualifying conviction in time.
