Spain enters Group H as the clear consensus leader for highest group-stage goal tally, driven by their status as defending European champions, world No. 2 ranking, and elite attacking depth featuring players like Lamine Yamal. Their unbeaten qualifying campaign produced 21 goals across six matches with minimal concessions, and favorable early fixtures against Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia align with trader expectations of sustained offensive output over three matches. Uruguay offers the primary alternative through midfield strength and physicality but trails significantly in implied probability due to lower overall firepower. Scenarios that could shift the outcome include multiple injuries to Spain’s creative forwards, a defensively compact approach from opponents limiting open play, or an unexpectedly high-scoring run from Uruguay across their schedule.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the team that conceded fewer total goals during the group stage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically.
If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
