**Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns, the top seeds in mixed doubles at the Veolia Arizona Open, stand as the clear frontrunners to reach the final.** Their strong recent form and experience give them a significant edge in a field thinned by absences from players like Anna Bright, Jorja and JW Johnson, Gabe Tardio, and Hayden Patriquin. The wide-open draw has produced first-time partnerships and upsets, elevating teams such as Catherine Parenteau/Federico Staksrud and others in the bottom half, yet the #1 seeds’ path remains the most direct based on seeding and head-to-head trends. Trader pricing reflects this consensus while acknowledging the potential for momentum shifts in a 1,000-point PPA Tour event.
