The Swiss Super League enters the 2026-27 campaign with unusual parity after newly promoted FC Thun claimed a shock title the prior season. Early match results and squad adjustments through the summer window have left several clubs—led by Young Boys, Lugano, St. Gallen, and Basel—level in strength and recent form, with no side establishing clear separation for second place. Historical depth from clubs such as Servette and Lausanne-Sport, combined with solid pre-season recruitment across the mid-table, sustains the tight distribution of implied probabilities. This setup reflects the league’s typical volatility, where home/away swings, European commitments, and minor roster tweaks can quickly reorder the standings over a 36-match schedule split into championship and relegation groups.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
