The 27-year-old Belgian enters with stronger overall form and experience on the fast surface, where serve and return consistency often decide early rounds. McCabe, a 22-year-old Australian ranked around 233, advanced through qualifying with wins over Coleman Wong and local wild card Sander Jong, showing resilience but facing a significant step up in competition. No reported injuries or late withdrawals alter the field, keeping the focus on Bergs’ higher baseline level and McCabe’s need to maintain momentum from recent challenger-level grass matches.
