This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 Irish Open. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 Irish Open is cancelled, or postponed after September 27, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).**The current 63% implied probability on “No” for an albatross at the 2026 Amgen Irish Open reflects the extreme rarity of the shot even on a strong DP World Tour field.** Albatrosses (double eagles) require holing a long second shot on a par 5, and professional events produce them infrequently despite hundreds of opportunities. This week’s layout at Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Doonbeg—a new venue for the event—features just three par-5 holes (4, 8, and 10) on a par-70 setup measuring 6,838 yards. Links conditions, potential wind, and firm turf further reduce the realistic chances of players reaching those greens in two with enough accuracy to convert from distance. The star-studded field, headlined by defending champion Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Shane Lowry, and others, increases overall scoring potential and eagle opportunities on the par 5s, but historical data shows albatrosses remain outliers even in high-caliber stroke-play events. With the tournament beginning September 10 and no confirmed recent precedents at this venue or similar Irish links setups, trader consensus prices the outcome as more likely to stay at zero than to produce the exceptional second-shot conversion needed.
