Trader consensus clusters tightly around 30-40% implied probabilities for top contenders in the FIFA World Cup most goal contributions market, reflecting balanced qualifier hauls, club form, and group stage paths in the expanded 48-team format. Kaoru Mitoma edges ahead at 40.8% on Japan's strong AFC qualifying campaign—where he notched 3 assists—and creative wing play, though his recent hamstring injury raises fitness doubts just weeks from kickoff. Lamine Yamal trails closely at 34.5% after a breakout La Liga season with 24 goals and 17 assists, bolstered by Spain's favorable draw despite hamstring recovery. Mohamed Salah's 11 goal contributions (8 goals, 3 assists) in CAF qualifiers sustain his 33.4% standing for Egypt, while Son Heung-min (32.5%) and Sadio Mané (32.0%) benefit from South Korea and Senegal's group advantages and recent international momentum, underscoring the wide-open race amid injury uncertainties and deeper knockout potential.
