Multiple K League 1 sides have posted nearly identical clean-sheet totals midway through the 2026 campaign, keeping the race for the most shutouts wide open. FC Seoul, Gangwon FC, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors each sit on roughly 10 clean sheets after about 21–24 matches, while Pohang Steelers, Bucheon FC 1995, and Jeju SK trail by only a couple. Strong recent defensive organization from goalkeepers such as Park Chung-hyo and Song Bum-keun, combined with solid backlines and low-scoring draws, has prevented any club from building a meaningful cushion. Fixture congestion, variable pitch conditions, and the absence of a runaway defensive leader mean small swings in upcoming results could still reorder the standings. Trader consensus therefore prices the outcome as evenly matched among the listed contenders.
