**The Liga MX Apertura 2026 top goalscorer race remains tightly contested after nine matchdays, with Salomón Rondón leading on eight goals for Pachuca while a cluster of attackers sit on four or five.** Óscar Estupiñán, Lucas Ocampos, Julián Carranza, Juninho, and several others have stayed within striking distance through consistent finishing and favorable schedules, while returning contributors such as Armando González, Paulinho, and Juan Brunetta (three goals, four assists) maintain realistic paths based on recent output and team attacking volume. Mid-table and lower-side strikers benefit from transitional defenses and set-piece opportunities, and the 18-team format plus fixture congestion keeps goal tallies bunched. Trader consensus prices reflect this parity, as no single player has pulled away decisively and late-season surges or injuries could still reshape the leaderboard.

If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
