Stephen Curry's strong public statements reaffirming his desire to remain a Golden State lifer have anchored trader sentiment in the NBA market for his next team. Entering the final year of his contract at age 38, Curry has repeatedly emphasized finishing his career with the Warriors, citing the franchise's built culture, ongoing partnership with Draymond Green and Steve Kerr, and lack of appeal in testing free agency. Warriors executives have echoed this outlook, noting Curry's extension eligibility and expressing confidence he will re-sign rather than pursue a move. While the 2026-27 season performance or an unexpected roster shift could theoretically alter his stance, recent comments and the absence of credible trade interest reinforce the overwhelming implied probability favoring a continued Warriors tenure.
