Early in the 2026 ACC football season, the rushing yards leader market stays tightly bunched because multiple returning backs enter with comparable workloads and supporting casts. Mark Fletcher Jr. at Miami and Isaac Brown at Louisville headline preseason All-ACC nods thanks to prior production and potent offenses featuring strong quarterbacks and lines, while Duke’s Nate Sheppard, Virginia Tech’s Marcellous Hawkins, Georgia Tech’s Malachi Hosley, and Stanford’s Micah Ford bring proven efficiency or volume from recent campaigns. Cal’s Kendrick Raphael and several portal additions add further depth. With only a handful of games played, usage patterns, offensive balance, injury reports, and schedule strength remain fluid, leaving traders to price a wide field of realistic contenders rather than anointing an early favorite.
