The 2026 Big 12 receiving touchdowns race remains tightly bunched because a deep group of wide receivers and tight ends enters the season with comparable target volume and red-zone opportunities. Preseason projections highlighted players like Amare Thomas at Houston, Omarion Miller at Arizona State, Terrance Carter Jr. at Texas Tech, Kenny Johnson at Texas Tech, Danny Scudero at Colorado, and Reed Harris at Arizona State, each backed by proven production or strong quarterback play. Early conference games have produced scattered scores without any single player separating, while transfers and returning contributors create similar usage patterns across offenses. This parity, combined with the conference’s spread-style attacks and limited sample size after just a few weeks, sustains the even implied probabilities reflected in current trader consensus.
