Indiana sits at 18.5% after back-to-back shutouts to open 3-0 play, building on its prior top-five national units with returning front-seven talent and transfers. Iowa, Georgia, and LSU follow in the 10-14% range due to proven schemes and early results, while lower-priced options like Oregon and Notre Dame benefit from elite lines and secondaries. The bunched field stems from comparable returning production, schedule strength, and limited sample size early in the season, keeping multiple Big Ten and SEC units in realistic contention.
