**Carolina Panthers hold a commanding edge in the season series after routing the Atlanta Falcons 34-3 in their Week 2 matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.** Bryce Young delivered a dominant performance with 287 passing yards and three touchdowns, while the Panthers defense forced multiple turnovers against a Falcons offense hampered by injuries to Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa. Cooper Rush started but struggled with interceptions and a fumble in a game that extended Carolina’s recent dominance in the NFC South rivalry. Atlanta’s ground attack led by Bijan Robinson showed flashes but could not overcome the quarterback uncertainty or defensive lapses. With the first game decided decisively in Carolina’s favor, trader consensus reflects the Panthers’ clearer path to claiming the series unless Atlanta can reverse course in the rematch.
