Valve’s measured expansion of the CS2 trade-up system favors the current “No” lean. Recent May 2026 updates introduced souvenir-quality items into contracts and extended coverts to knives and gloves, yet sticker contracts remain absent despite ongoing community discussion. Valve has historically moved slowly on economy-wide changes that could flood the market with low-value paper stickers from past Majors, and no official patches, datamines, or Cologne 2026 shop adjustments have signaled sticker trade-ups. With only five months until the November cutoff and Valve’s track record of testing limited features first, traders see limited runway for implementation before the deadline.
