Blake Ellis, an Australian with established ITF experience and an ATP ranking near 500, faces American Sebastian Gorzny in the M25 Wichita round of 16 on outdoor hard courts. Gorzny, a 22-year-old recent college standout at Texas with a strong dual-match record, enters on momentum after a straight-sets win over Andrew Fenty in Tyler. Ellis brings more professional match volume but limited 2026 results, while Gorzny’s transition from collegiate tennis highlights recent form and local familiarity on U.S. hard courts. Head-to-head data is minimal, leaving surface adaptation, serve consistency, and baseline rallies as key variables in this closely contested pro-level matchup.
