Jia-Jing Lu holds the edge in this ITF Zhengzhou hard-court matchup against younger Chinese player Chenting Zhu, reflecting her higher ranking and greater experience. The 36-year-old Lu, currently ranked around No. 366, brings a more established game and recently defeated Zhu 6-3, 7-5 in February on a similar surface. Zhu, an 18-year-old ranked near No. 651, has shown promise in lower-level events but faces a significant step up in consistency against the veteran. Both players compete primarily on hard courts this season, with Lu demonstrating steadier recent results and fewer unforced errors in comparable fixtures. Surface familiarity and head-to-head history shape trader views on the implied probabilities for this encounter.
