Bayern Munich enters the DFB-Pokal final against VfB Stuttgart on May 23 at Berlin's Olympiastadion as the overwhelming trader consensus favorite at 81.5% implied probability, bolstered by their status as record 20-time winners, Bundesliga champions clinched via a recent 4-2 home win over Stuttgart, and a commanding semifinal victory over Bayer Leverkusen. Stuttgart holds 17.5% as resilient underdogs and defending champions, advancing past SC Freiburg with Tiago Tomas' 119th-minute extra-time winner, showcasing their knockout pedigree despite head-to-head struggles and Bayern's superior squad depth, form, and historical edge in high-stakes clashes. No major injury concerns have emerged in the past week, keeping focus on tactical matchups at the neutral venue.
