The 2026 Veolia Arizona Open mixed doubles draw on the PPA Tour stands unusually open after several top teams opted out, including Anna Bright/Hayden Patriquin and Jorja/JW Johnson. This elevates the #1 seeds Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns, who enter on strong recent form despite narrow semifinal escapes and a prior-season loss to the Johnsons. Key challengers include #2 Rachel Rohrabacher/Christian Alshon, #3 Parris Todd/Andrei Daescu, and new pairings such as Catherine Parenteau/Jonathan Truong and Kate Fahey/Federico Staksrud. Lower seeds like Etta Tuionetoa/Will Howells hold realistic paths in a bracket lacking traditional depth. Main-draw action began this week at Arizona Athletic Grounds with 1,000 ranking points available.
