North Melbourne Kangaroos enter this matchup as heavy favorites in trader consensus, reflecting their recent form surge and the Western Bulldogs’ mounting injury list. The Kangaroos secured a 23-point victory over the Dogs in Round 22 at Marvel Stadium, ending a long drought against them behind strong midfield output from Luke Davies-Uniacke and forward pressure from Paul Curtis. North Melbourne’s improved contested ball work and defensive structure under Alastair Clarkson contrast with the Bulldogs’ depleted lineup, including concerns around Tim English (knee), Aaron Naughton (ankle), and Adam Treloar (calf), plus managed players ahead of finals. While the Dogs remain higher on the ladder and boast stars like Marcus Bontempelli, their percentage and recent results against motivated sides have shifted implied probabilities sharply toward North Melbourne. Historical head-to-head trends and current roster health further support the market’s assessment of a lopsided contest.
