Both British players meet in the Zagreb Challenger semifinal on clay, where Choinski’s higher ranking and recent three-set win over Chris Rodesch highlight his experience and resilience. Fery, ranked just outside the top 150, arrives with strong momentum after straight-set victories over Dominic Stricker and Yannick Alexandrescou, showing sharp serving and aggressive baseline play suited to the surface. Their first career meeting pits Choinski’s proven clay-court record and stamina against Fery’s youth and improving consistency; rest advantages from the short turnaround and any late weather effects on the red dirt could influence baseline rallies and error rates. Trader sentiment reflects the closely matched form and surface familiarity.
