Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands overwhelming trader consensus at 99.9% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100 dated August 22 because the track has already logged a record 17 weeks at No. 1 through the prior chart, outpacing every non-holiday single by a solo female artist in Hot 100 history. Its sustained dominance stems from consistent streaming volume, country radio airplay, and broad pop crossover appeal as a twangy heartbreak anthem that has defied typical chart fatigue. No major new releases or viral surges from competing titles—including tracks by Morgan Wallen, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, or Olivia Rodrigo—have emerged in recent tracking data to threaten the hold. An upset remains theoretically possible if a surprise debut posts extraordinary first-week consumption or if “Choosin’ Texas” experiences an abrupt streaming dip, though both scenarios appear remote given the song’s entrenched metrics and the chart’s proximity.
