Stella Lefty’s “Boston” maintains overwhelming market-implied odds for the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 dated September 12 because the track has locked into a stable second-place finish behind Ella Langley’s long-running “Choosin’ Texas.” Strong multi-format radio airplay, consistent streaming numbers, and solid sales have kept the country-pop single at its peak position through recent tracking weeks. Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” a June soundtrack release that opened at No. 1, has since settled at No. 3 with declining momentum. With the chart period nearly complete, an upset would require an unprecedented late surge in Swift’s consumption metrics or a sharp drop for “Boston,” both of which appear highly improbable given current trajectory data.
