VfB Stuttgart secured fourth place and direct UEFA Champions League qualification for 2026/27 with a 2-2 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on the final matchday, finishing with 62 points behind Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. The race for that spot tightened through May head-to-head fixtures, where Stuttgart’s defensive resilience and recent form outweighed Hoffenheim’s mixed results and Leverkusen’s late push. Only the top four earn league-phase entry this season, though strong German UEFA coefficient performance could still open a fifth spot via Europa League spillover.
