This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 Irish Open. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 Irish Open is cancelled, or postponed after September 27, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).The rarity of albatrosses on the DP World Tour, combined with firm, wind-exposed links conditions at Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Doonbeg, underpins the near-even trader split on whether one occurs during the Amgen Irish Open. Recent course adjustments shortened two former par-fives into par-fours, limiting reachable opportunities for 2 on a par-five, while prevailing Atlantic winds and firm turf typically demand precise second shots that favor birdie or eagle rather than the double-eagle feat. A strong field featuring links specialists such as Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Shane Lowry introduces realistic upside for exceptional approaches on any remaining par-fives, yet historical tour data shows albatrosses remain outliers even in favorable setups. Weather shifts or softer conditions could enhance scoring windows and nudge probabilities toward yes, whereas sustained breeze or firm greens would reinforce the current lean toward no.
