If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed nation to advance to the Knockout Stage (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup less than a month away, national teams are finalizing 26-player squads by the June 2 deadline after submitting provisional lists in mid-May. Recent friendlies and club form are guiding selections as coaches evaluate fitness ahead of the June 11 opener. In the expanded 48-team format across 12 groups of four, the top two advance automatically while the eight strongest third-placed sides also reach the knockout stages. Group dynamics, including home advantages for co-hosts USA, Canada, and Mexico, head-to-head records, and recent international results, heavily influence advancement chances. Squad health, tactical matchups, and schedule congestion from back-to-back games remain key variables that could shift outcomes in the group phase.
