Ensemble guidance shows tight clustering around 31–34°C, with the slight edge for 33°C reflecting model consensus on peak insolation and minimal cloud cover. Minor spread arises from uncertainties in boundary-layer moisture, exact timing of any Atlantic frontal approach, and the strength of the urban heat-island effect, which can add 1–2°C in central districts. Updated runs from ECMWF and UKV models over the next 24–48 hours will refine whether the maximum edges toward 32°C or 34°C.
