This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong has edged ahead of Shohei Ohtani as the leading candidate for 2026 NL MVP, with recent betting markets and prediction platforms showing the Cubs center fielder at slight favorite status around 53-54 percent implied probability. Crow-Armstrong’s surge stems from a strong second-half stretch that includes a three-game sweep of the Dodgers, where he homered twice, pushing his season line to roughly .285 with 27 home runs, strong on-base and slugging marks near .933 OPS, plus elite center-field defense and base-stealing production. Ohtani remains close behind at roughly 44-45 percent, leading the NL in OPS and maintaining his typical two-way impact for the Dodgers, though Crow-Armstrong’s higher game count and recent momentum have narrowed the gap. Distant contenders trail far behind with minimal market share.
