Multiple Big 12 running backs enter the 2026 season with comparable credentials after strong 2025 campaigns, including LJ Martin at BYU, Cameron Dickey at Texas Tech, Wayshawn Parker at Utah, and transfers like Caleb Hawkins and Cam Cook. Early conference games show distributed production across offenses, with no single back separating through limited snaps. Official depth charts and injury reports remain fluid, while shared backfields and quarterback-designed runs further spread opportunities. This depth, combined with the long regular-season schedule and variable goal-line work, keeps implied probabilities clustered as traders await clearer trends in carries, red-zone usage, and team rushing efficiency.
