This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team reaches the Second Round of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to advance to the Second Round of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or the Second Round matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL (https://www.nhl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Western Conference contenders entering the 2026-27 campaign feature several teams with proven playoff pedigrees and recent roster continuity. The Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, and Vegas Golden Knights posted the strongest 2025-26 regular-season records in the conference, with the Avalanche claiming the Presidents’ Trophy before falling in the conference final. Offseason extensions and signings, including high-profile deals for key defensemen and forwards, have bolstered depth for multiple clubs, while the expanded 84-game schedule and new CBA revenue-sharing mechanics could influence rest and roster construction. First-round matchups will hinge on home-ice advantage, goaltending health, and special-teams execution, as historical patterns show top seeds advancing at higher rates but with regular upsets from wild-card qualifiers.
