With the 2026 NFL season still weeks from kickoff and no regular-season games played, the interceptions-leader market reflects broad uncertainty and league-wide parity, leaving numerous teams clustered near even implied probabilities. Defensive backs, secondary depth, and scheme adjustments from the April draft and March free agency remain untested in live action, while factors like quarterback turnover rates, offensive line play, and coaching staff continuity could shift outcomes dramatically once training camps begin. Historical patterns show interceptions totals often hinge on small edges in pass-rush pressure and coverage discipline rather than preseason expectations, keeping the field wide open across AFC and NFC squads alike.
