Both teams enter the 2026 season with new offensive coordinators and schemes, contributing to the tight market on the Eagles-Commanders season series. Philadelphia’s narrow 24-22 Week 1 home win highlighted execution challenges for Sean Mannion’s West Coast-influenced attack despite Jalen Hurts’ three touchdown passes, while Washington’s David Blough-led unit showed late promise but faltered on critical two-point attempts. The Commanders’ improved defensive front under Daronte Jones limited Eagles first downs and pressured the quarterback, signaling potential to compete in the November 1 rematch at Northwest Stadium. With both clubs navigating roster transitions and divisional implications, traders view the upcoming road primetime contest as a near coin-flip that keeps the probability of a split series nearly even with an Eagles sweep.
