Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina reached the 2026 US Open women’s final after top-four seeds advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 1975. Sabalenka, the two-time defending champion, defeated Jessica Pegula 7-5, 6-2 in straight sets on September 10 to extend her 19-match winning streak at Flushing Meadows and secure a fourth consecutive final appearance. Rybakina overcame Coco Gauff 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the other semifinal, claiming the world No. 1 ranking for the first time while earning her initial US Open final berth. These results followed quarterfinal comebacks by both finalists and consistent top-seed dominance through the draw, aligning trader consensus with the head-to-head history, recent form, and surface performance of the two players contesting the September 12 championship match.
