Aoran Wang holds a substantial ranking edge over Jaesung Choe, sitting near the top 400 while Choe ranks outside the top 1200, reflecting greater experience and consistency at this ITF M15 level on indoor hard courts in Maanshan. Wang has navigated similar Chinese hard-court events recently, though with mixed results including an early exit in the prior M15 Maanshan edition. Choe enters with fresh momentum after a three-set victory over Kai-I Wang on June 16 in the same tournament, but faces a short turnaround that could impact recovery. No prior head-to-head exists between the players, leaving surface familiarity, serve reliability, and second-serve performance as key variables in this second-round matchup.
