The Chicago Cubs enter their upcoming series against the Milwaukee Brewers with strong momentum after a 29-16 start to the 2026 season, fueled by additions like Alex Bregman and a bolstered bullpen that has anchored their NL Central lead. The Brewers, sitting at 25-17, rely on young arms such as Jacob Misiorowski and outfield production from Jackson Chourio but face challenges from recent roster adjustments, including the trade of Freddy Peralta, and day-to-day concerns with players like Christian Yelich. Home-field factors at Wrigley Field and both clubs' recent form in tight divisional matchups shape trader focus on pitching matchups and bullpen depth as key variables in the series outcome.
