Atlanta Braves host the Boston Red Sox at Truist Park in an interleague matchup, with the NL East-leading Braves (30-14, 14-7 home) holding strong trader consensus favoritism over the AL East-lagging Red Sox (18-25, 10-11 road) despite Ronald Acuña Jr.'s ongoing hamstring strain placing him on the 10-day IL. Spencer Strider (1-0, 2.89 ERA) starts for Atlanta following a scoreless six-inning outing, facing Connelly Early (3-2, 3.16 ERA) for Boston; Braves' offense boasts a .270 average and 5.39 runs per game, while Red Sox struggle at .235 batting. Recent developments include Braves' 2-0 shutout loss to Cubs yesterday snapping momentum (6-4 last 10) and Red Sox dropping series finale to Phillies (5-5 last 10); no major weather concerns in mild Atlanta evening.
