Both the New York Mets and Miami Marlins enter their upcoming three-game series at loanDepot park with sub-.500 records in the NL East, as the Mets sit at 18-26 and the Marlins at 20-25. Recent form shows the Marlins with a slight edge in home performance, while the Mets have dealt with multiple pitching injuries including Dedniel Núñez on the 60-day IL. Starting pitching matchups and bullpen stability will likely shape outcomes, along with key roster health updates such as Robby Snelling's elbow evaluation for Miami. Historical head-to-head trends and travel factors from New York add context, though both clubs remain competitive in a division where small margins separate results.
