Norbert Gombos enters the Prague Challenger qualifying match as the clear favorite due to his superior ranking (around 366-424), extensive ATP experience, and career-high of No. 80, compared to Jiri Cizek's lower-tier standing. Gombos brings a stronger overall record and prior success on clay surfaces typical for this event, while Cizek has shown limited results in recent Challenger outings, including a straight-sets loss in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Both players arrive after defeats in prior tournaments, but the veteran edge and implied probability reflected in market pricing highlight Gombos's consistent ability to close out matches against lower-ranked opponents. Home-country status for Cizek offers minimal counterbalance given the experience gap. No reported injuries or withdrawals alter the field.
