Matthew Dellavedova enters the M25 Taipei 2 quarterfinal as the clear favorite, backed by his ATP ranking near 299, stronger recent hard-court results across multiple ITF events in Asia, and an 8-2 win rate in his last 10 matches. The Australian has shown consistent serving and return pressure on outdoor hard, advancing deep in the Taipei series while securing multiple titles this season. Kasidit Samrej, ranked lower around 480, brings solid experience on the surface but displays more variable form and fewer wins against similarly ranked opponents. Their March 2026 indoor-hard meeting ended in Dellavedova’s favor after dropping the opening set. Traders weigh Dellavedova’s ranking edge, momentum, and head-to-head record most heavily in pricing this matchup.
