The 2026-27 Serie A runner-up market remains tightly bunched because Inter Milan enter as clear title favorites after retaining the Scudetto, leaving a wide field of plausible challengers for second. Napoli, fresh off last season's runner-up finish under Massimiliano Allegri, sit alongside Atalanta and several others in trader pricing, supported by stable squads and European experience. AC Milan’s appointment of Ruben Amorim and high-profile signing of Gonçalo Ramos, combined with Juventus’s summer activity, add further uncertainty to the order of finish behind Inter. With the campaign opening August 22 and no dominant pre-season form separating the pack, recent transfer-window moves and historical patterns of mid-table volatility keep implied probabilities clustered in a narrow band.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
