The Swiss Super League's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects a highly competitive field driven by league parity and an unsettled early-season picture. Defending champions FC Thun's surprise 2025-26 title run has reset expectations, while established sides like BSC Young Boys, FC Lugano, and FC St. Gallen post strong projected points totals and early results. Multiple clubs, including FC Basel, Servette FC, FC Zürich, and FC Sion, remain in contention through recent summer transfers, solid pre-season preparations, and favorable fixture schedules. With no dominant second-place candidate emerging after the opening matchdays and the league's split format still months away, traders price a broad group of realistic challengers near even odds, underscoring the absence of clear separation in form, squad depth, or historical second-place patterns.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
