Nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, announced September 10, established a tight race in Musical Event of the Year among five collaborations. Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton’s “A Song To Sing” and Ella Langley with Morgan Wallen’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore” lead market-implied odds near 37 percent each, reflecting strong artist momentum—Langley’s nine total nods signal broad industry support, while Lambert’s established crossover appeal bolsters her entry. The remaining contenders trail notably, with “McArthur” at 13 percent and the others below 11 percent, underscoring how star power, production credits, and recent chart trajectories differentiate the frontrunners. Voting closes October 27 ahead of the November 18 ceremony in Nashville, where guild and critic signals could still shift sentiment in this open field.
