Scottie Scheffler holds a sizable FedEx Cup points lead entering the 2026 playoffs, reflecting his strong regular-season results that include multiple victories and consistent top finishes. The three-event format—beginning with the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, followed by the BMW Championship and TOUR Championship—creates opportunities for movement as the field narrows from 70 to 30 players. Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young, and others trail but remain in contention through strong recent form, head-to-head history in high-stakes events, and the points reset dynamics at East Lake. This structure, combined with variable course conditions and playoff pressure, keeps implied probabilities clustered among a deep group of contenders despite the leader's advantage.
