The Netflix customer support claim that the August 27 "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" will run approximately 20 minutes has become the dominant factor shaping trader sentiment. This aligns with Rockstar's pattern of longer trailers—moving from Trailer 1's 1:31 to Trailer 2's 2:47—and expectations for substantial new gameplay footage ahead of the November 19, 2026 release. The event, announced days ago and positioned as a major cultural moment with Netflix premiering it at 3 p.m. ET before a later YouTube drop, marks Rockstar's first extended marketing push in over a year. Resolution hinges on the actual runtime once the showcase airs, with any last-minute official clarification potentially shifting implied probabilities before then.
