This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed player is announced as the cover athlete of Sony Interactive’s MLB The Show 27, or if the player is explicitly depicted on the cover. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Only explicit depictions of the player or their likeness (including but not limited to: a player’s face, a clear depiction in uniform including logo and/or number) will be considered for this market’s resolution. All editions (e.g. standard, deluxe, bundle) of the game for console platforms slated for release by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET will count toward this market’s resolution. If MLB The Show 27 does not release, or it cannot be determined if a listed player is included on the cover by April 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source will be an official announcement from Sony Interactive and/or the player; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Bryce Harper and Juan Soto currently lead Polymarket odds for MLB The Show 27 cover athlete at roughly even odds amid low volume.** With MLB The Show 26 featuring Aaron Judge for a second time after an initial announcement of no new cover star, trader sentiment for the next edition centers on standout 2026 performers and historical selection patterns favoring MVPs, home-run leaders, or high-profile free agents. Soto’s massive contract and consistent production, Harper’s veteran star power, and emerging talents like Paul Skenes or Bobby Witt Jr. drive speculation. Resolution hinges on an official San Diego Studios or Sony announcement, typically timed near the prior game’s launch window in early 2027. Key swing factors include final 2026 regular-season and playoff results plus MVP voting, which have historically aligned with cover choices. No confirmed developments have emerged yet for 27.
