This market will resolve to “Yes” if the total number of buzzer beater shots scored to end any regulation or overtime period during the 2026 NBA Finals equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, the market will resolve to “No” If no buzzer beater is scored during the 2026 NBA Finals, the market will resolve to “No” A ‘buzzer beater’ is a made field goal that is scored at the expiration (leaving zero seconds on game clock) of any period during the 2026 NBA Finals. Shots made at the end of the shot clock are not considered buzzer beaters. If the series concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NBA statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NBA Finals is cancelled, postponed after July 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the exact number of “buzzer beaters” cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA and its official broadcast partners; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs remain tightly contested after three games, with the Knicks holding a 2-1 series lead following narrow margins in Games 2 and 3. Those contests produced multiple late leads and high-stakes possessions typical of Finals play, though no confirmed buzzer beaters have occurred through Game 3. Victor Wembanyama's interior presence and the Knicks' perimeter execution have defined the matchup so far, while travel and rest factors between New York and San Antonio could influence fatigue and execution in the remaining games. Historical Finals data shows buzzer beaters remain infrequent events, often tied to overtime or sub-5-point finishes rather than routine outcomes.
