Louisville enters mid-October at 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the ACC after narrow losses to Ole Miss, Wake Forest, and NC State, each decided by three points or fewer. Transfer quarterback Lincoln Kienholz has energized the offense, posting multiple 300-yard passing games while adding mobility, complemented by the productive backfield duo of Isaac Brown and Keyjuan Brown. The unit ranks among the ACC’s top in yards and points per game, though defensive lapses, penalties, and secondary depth concerns have limited results. With Florida State, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, and Kentucky remaining on the schedule, the Cardinals face a mix of winnable home contests and challenging road environments that will shape their final win total under head coach Jeff Brohm.
