The closely bunched probabilities around 25-33% for the Week 2 passing yards leader reflect a wide-open field driven by multiple quarterback uncertainties and variable game scripts across the NFL slate. Injury situations, including potential absences or limited roles for starters like Sam Darnold, Kyler Murray, Tua Tagovailoa, and Michael Penix Jr., open doors for backups or adjusted rotations that could boost volume for players such as Fernando Mendoza, Tyler Shough, Quinn Ewers, or Jalon Daniels in favorable matchups. High-total contests and defensive weaknesses on opposing sides further spread implied probabilities, as any signal-caller could post the top output depending on pace, efficiency, and situational factors rather than a clear hierarchy.
