In the early weeks of the 2026-27 NFL season, the Week 2 scrimmage yards leader market remains tightly contested because no single running back or wide receiver has established a clear edge in projected volume or matchup advantage. Multiple backs like Rhamondre Stevenson, Breece Hall, Jonathan Taylor, and Saquon Barkley share similar implied probabilities around 25 percent due to comparable workloads in favorable offensive schemes, while receivers such as CeeDee Lamb, Ja'Marr Chase, and Garrett Wilson sit in the same range amid balanced passing distributions. Recent roster stability, limited major injuries on official reports, and the inherent variance of single-game outputs across 14 contests keep the field open. Traders price in historical patterns where different skill-position players surge on any given Sunday based on game script, defensive adjustments, and usage in the passing game. This spread reflects broad consensus that several candidates retain realistic paths to the top total.

Only games designated by the NFL as Week 2 of the 2026-27 regular season count.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more scrimmage touchdowns (rushing touchdowns plus receiving touchdowns) in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of scrimmage yards per touch (scrimmage yards divided by the sum of rushing attempts and receptions) in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other".
If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past October 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in scrimmage yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
