Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have anchored trader consensus around a standard-edition price well below the $100 threshold by confirming a $79.99 launch tag for the November 19, 2026 release across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. This aligns with prevailing AAA benchmarks, the company’s emphasis on broad accessibility to maximize volume, and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick’s repeated signals that aggressive premium pricing would risk leaving revenue on the table. Recent earnings commentary and marketing timelines have further reinforced that no last-minute shift to three-figure base pricing is planned, mirroring historical Rockstar strategy with prior blockbusters. While an unforeseen executive reversal or bundled digital edition push could theoretically alter the outcome before street date, such moves remain improbable given the locked-in campaign and strong sales projections at the current tier.
