Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick’s recent comments at the iicon conference have anchored trader sentiment, emphasizing that Grand Theft Auto VI must deliver a price point that feels “very reasonable” to consumers while maximizing value. This stance aligns with standard AAA pricing around $70–$80, echoing Rockstar’s historical approach with prior Grand Theft Auto titles and recent industry research showing that a $100 launch would likely reduce unit sales and overall revenue. Strong pre-order buzz and the game’s anticipated November 2026 release have reinforced expectations of a conventional full-price model rather than an ultra-premium tag, though persistent rumors of higher costs tied to the title’s massive budget leave room for last-minute adjustments or deluxe editions that could test the current 91% consensus on “No.”
